Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat has arrived in Kolkata for a three-day stay following his participation in the life consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on Monday. According to a senior Sangh official, Dr. Bhagwat reached Kolkata straight from Ayodhya around 11 pm on Monday. Scheduled programs in West Bengal on January 23rd and 24th include an event in Barasat today, where over a thousand volunteers will be present in uniform.
This visit follows Dr. Bhagwat's presence in Kolkata on January 23rd last year when he participated as the keynote speaker in the "Netaji Loh Pranam" program, commemorating Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's birth anniversary. Additionally, the Sarsanghchalak had a two-day visit to Bengal in December, meeting notable figures such as former CBI chief Upen Biswas, actor Victor Banerjee, tabla player Vikram Ghosh, and BJP leader Kalyan Choubey.
